“Future-Bright Night” was a great pre-Christmas night out at the classy NAMCO entertainment venue at City Hall by the London Eye on 12th December. Turbo bumper cars, pool, ten-pin bowling, arcade games & simulators, bar and DJ’s. The Charity Auction and Raffle were both a great success, with a star performance by TV’s Hardeep Singh Kohli as the auctioneer. Thanks to Kulvinder and her team for all the hard work that went into the night, which raised significant funds for Zimkids. Still counting!
The previous fund-raiser was a family soccer tournament in Morden on 2nd May 2009 when family and adult teams competed and raised £600 pounds.
In November 2008, a superb jazz concert in Morden by the Merton Youth Jazz Orchestra raised nearly £1400 pounds.
In Summer 2008, a sports day organised by Kulvinder, a former work-colleague of Charlene, raised £550.
