ZIMBEES 
Zimbees is an ongoing initiative where beehives are constructed, placed and maintained in order to harvest honey. Honey is useful for generating income, and for medicinal purposes e.g. burns, sore throats, immune-booster for people that are HIV positive. Zimkids also trains people in beekeeping – from the construction of hives to the harvest and extraction of honey. This can eventually become a self-sustaining business for them.
We have hives in and around Harare and Mutoko.
